Pedagogical Initiatives

In conjunction with our concerts we organise pedagogical meetings for all ages: during these meetings, children can learn to dance Argentine folk dances, while adults may be interested in discovering more historical aspects of the development of Baroque music in Europe and Latin America.

Social initiatives

We regularly organise fundraising concerts  for humanitarian, health and social causes. We also went to the migrants’ shelter in Ventimiglia to let the residents discover our music and play with them.

Accademia La Chimera

Since 2015 we have been promoting and coaching a youth ensemble founded by us: Accademia La Chimera. The ensemble has already performed several times at the Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik, and is the resident ensemble at the Marchesato Opera Festival in Saluzzo. They are invited in 2021 to perform Händel’s Ottone in Göttingen and Halle .

Marchesato Opera Festival

Artistically directed by Sabina Colonna-Preti and based in Saluzzo, a beautiful Renaissance city in Piedmont (Italy), the Marchesato Opera Festival gives young musicians the opportunity to take lessons and give concerts at the same time. Every summer for 10 days children and young people create absolutely original shows led by internationally renowned maestros, such as Francesco Corti, Pablo Valetti, Rachel Podger,  Claire Lefilliatre…
